Four colors, which is why people call us

Gina is white, Sophia orange, Claudia green, Anita yellow. They are identical in shape and different only in color, and on a commercial that counts for more than any spec sheet: you pick the car that sits in the client’s palette, or you line up four and get a color sequence out of a single repeated vehicle.

Anyone working in fashion sees it immediately: an open car with no pillars and no glass is a frame you can work from any angle, with the model inside or leaning on it, and with no reflections to manage.

Where we are not the right choice, and it is worth saying

If you are shooting a period film and the car has to be of those years, we are not it: ours are built today, they carry quadricycle plates, and anyone minding continuity will notice. For that work there are collectors and specialist suppliers, and they are good at it.

Our ground is different: advertising, fashion, music videos, brand content. There the car has to work in frame, move silently, and go where a combustion engine cannot — and nobody is looking at the plate.

The problem we solve: audio

Anyone who has shot a scene in a vintage car knows how it ends. The engine covers the voices, the sound recordist puts his hands up, and the dialogue gets rebuilt in a dubbing studio, with time and cost nobody budgeted.

Our cars make no noise. Actors speak while driving and the live sound is usable: you hear the voice, the traffic around it, the wind. That is not a technical detail, it is a shooting day you do not have to do twice.

No exhaust: you can shoot indoors

There is no combustion engine, so there are no fumes. The car can be taken into a closed courtyard, under a portico, into a historic villa or onto a soundstage without saturating the air and without sending the crew outside for air every twenty minutes.

For the same reason it leaves no oil on the paving: locations with conservation requirements let it in where they keep engine cars out.

On permits, we will tell you how it is

The vehicle gets into the historic center restricted traffic zone, where a car needs an annual permit, because it is a quadricycle. That is not the same as a filming permit. Shooting in a public place in Rome requires authorization whatever you are driving, and in archaeological areas the Superintendency as well. We get the car in; the permits are still yours to obtain.

How the rental works

A daily rate per picture vehicle, delivery and collection included: we bring it to set clean and charged and we take it away at wrap. We stay on hand if you need it moved between setups. Logos and stickers come off on request, so the car appears with no branding.
