The Appian WayRoman paving stones, centuries-old pines, ancient mausoleums. We drive it slowly, in electric silence: you hear birdsong, not an engine.
Castel Gandolfo & the lakeThe popes' summer palace above Lake Albano. A photo stop where the view opens widest.
Frascati — the wine tastingA family-run winery we know by name: a glass of Frascati DOC, local bites, vineyards as far as the eye can see. No rush, ever.
GrottaferrataThe abbey of San Nilo and the streets we call home. This isn't a guidebook stop — it's where we live.
Tusculum — the lookoutA scenic climb through the woods to the ruins of ancient Tusculum. From up there, Rome fits in a single glance.
ReturnBack at sunsetThe descent toward Rome in golden light. We drop you at your hotel — or wherever you're having dinner.

What if it rains?

The car has a soft top and side protection; in light rain the journey runs and is lovely all the same. In truly bad weather we'll offer to move your date or refund you in full.

Can we change the itinerary?

Yes. The tour is private and the itinerary is a starting point. More lake, more wine, fewer ruins — tell us, and we'll shape it around you.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, ages 4 and up with booster seats we provide. Up to 3 guests per car (the fourth seat is your driver-guide's); for larger parties we run two cars in convoy.

How far ahead should we book?

In season, a few days ahead is wise. For same-day requests, try us on WhatsApp anyway — if a car is free, we go.
