The Appian Way and the Aqueducts, from the driver's seat.
Four hours out of the centre without leaving Rome: the oldest road in Europe, tombs standing in the grass, and then the park where the aqueducts march across open country exactly as painters found them two centuries ago. You drive. We write the roadbook.
How it works
Meet us on Via Labicana, a few steps from the Colosseum — or we bring the car to your hotel, an extra at €50. Fifteen minutes together: the controls (there are three), charging, and the route marked on your roadbook. Then the keys are yours and so is the day.
We stay reachable by phone throughout. If anything comes up, we come to you.

Not included, deliberately

Important information
In the very car you booked: the full nautical-canvas enclosure, with windows and soft doors, keeps the cabin dry. If the weather turns genuinely bad, we move your date at no cost or refund everything.
Our cars are road-homologated and fitted with seat belts, and child seats can be installed: we provide them on request. Just tell us the children's ages and how many when you book.
Gina or Sophia, our two eStorys: tell us which one you would like when you book, at no extra cost, and we will do our best to assign her to you.

Frequently asked
What licence do I need to drive?
A driving licence held for at least one year. If it was issued outside the European Union you also need an International Driving Permit, obtained in your home country before you travel — it cannot be issued in Italy.
What is the minimum driving age?
Twenty-one for the driver. You also need a credit card in the driver's name for the security deposit.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes: free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure, with a full refund of what you have paid.
What happens if it rains?
We move your date at no cost, or refund you in full. In light rain you go anyway: the nautical-canvas enclosure with windows keeps the cabin dry, and it is the same car you booked.
Where do I pick the car up?
On Via Labicana, a few steps from the Colosseum. If you prefer, we bring the car to your hotel in Rome and collect it there at the end: an extra at €50.
How long does it last and when does it start?
Four hours, departing at 09:00 or 15:00. The afternoon departure reaches the aqueducts in the best light of the day.
